I woke up with a new swing to my step. I knew the chances of sleeping with Amrah and Kim were slim to none, but it was a nice thought, an excellent thought that got me through the night many times over.
“How did it go?” Stephanie asked as I went downstairs.
I told them about the date, but I left out the part where they were both married with kids. I didn’t think that would’ve gone over well. I knew after the Candice debacle, any more bad news would add to it.
The ski resort broadcasted that it was closed due to the storm last night. I wasn’t surprised as most tourists wouldn’t know how to ski on the new powder. Luckily it would be cold today, so it should get firm by tomorrow.
“We should throw a party!” Kyle said as he stood up.
He looked at us, and I was sure he was expecting all of us to shut his idea down.
“We haven’t done one in a while.” Lilah spoke up first.
The rest of us nodded. The back deck was huge, and the whole area in front of the lodge and on both sides was more extensive. When we threw a party, it usually got crazy.
