I know I am late to the responding party, but I just read this today. Those "friends" were more likely jealous. I have dated a few "blessed" women and it never ceases to amaze me about the looks, comments and crude responses they got. And you were right about if you posed a "bigger woman" photo the body positives would be all over it. I am truly sorry that society hasn't accepted "blessed women" unless they are made from plastic. Which truly puzzles me. I am glad that you have moved forward.
