Life’s Lessons Chapter Six: Life Changing
For once in Carla’s life, a man comes along and surprises her.
“No!” I said while talking to April on the phone while in a hotel.
“He is a good guy,” April responded.
“April, I don’t need to be set up with a guy,” I said as I looked over my clothes for the night. “I get guys weekly.”
“Yes, they just want to sleep with you,” April said.
I sighed. I regretted telling April I would drop all this for the right guy.
Now, April was constantly trying to set me up with somebody.
“Just give it a shot, please?” April asked.
“Fine,” I said, shaking my head.
“So, vineyard huh?” April asked.
“Yeah,” I shook my head.
“That’s romantic,” April said.
“Not the first time, probably won’t be the last, most guys think it sets the mood,” I said sarcastically.
“It doesn’t?” April asked.
“April, he is going to stick his dick into me sometime tonight, why not get it over with?” I shrugged. “All he is doing is costing himself more money, for the time wasted.”
