Welcome to the Neighbourhood: Chapter Six
I woke up early to head to the gym; it was just as I thought. Fred put me through the wringer. I was sure he was punishing me for what happened with Jacob, but it was something I needed. If I was going to keep up with the new women in my life, I needed to get in better shape.
“Feel better?” Fred asked me as I lay on the floor of my house.
“Yeah, still sore, you did a number on my back,” I said as I talked to him over the phone.
“The guys and I are heading for the range, you up for it?”
“Nah,” I said as I got a text from Liane. She wanted to meet me.
“Your loss,” Fred said.
Liane was the only one I hadn’t fucked yet, and my dick sprang to life thinking that’s what she wanted.
‘My loss, my ass,’ I thought as we hung up.
I waited until I saw all the guys get in Drake’s other vehicle. I waited another half hour then got out of the house.
Liane wanted to meet at a health care center just down the road from the community. It looked like no one was there. I didn’t even see Liane’s car.
‘You sure this is the right address?’ I sent the text.
‘Push open the door, I am on the third floor,’ Liane sent back.
