Work Relations: Chapter Five
I woke up that evening refreshed; it had been a long night and an even longer morning. Terrence had texted me and told me Celia walked the store and was happy with the inventory results overall.
Even though Fredericks’s department had failed miserably, she had taken it in stride.
Then Derek called me and wanted to thank me. It seemed Gina had come home on cloud nine and made him his favourite breakfast. He knew it had to do with me and thanked me for it. Who would have thought a husband would be thanking another man for fucking their wife?
I got out of bed, showered, and then got ready for another late night at work.
Aaron was true to his word. He had put in a transfer, and Celia had already approved it. Soon as an opening was available, Aaron would be on the move. In the meantime, he was pretty happy doing nothing.
I walked my department to make sure everything and everyone was in order and happy. Then the maintenance team came in. They told us there were a few patches in the roof they needed to fix permanently and some other work they needed to do.
They also stated that they would have to turn the power off to some of the sections in the store.
